Tournament Begins to Determine ECW Title Match at Royal Rumble Reported by Paulo Ferreira on 12/16/2009
- The ECW Homecoming Qualifying matches kicked off on last night's show with Kane and Ezekiel Jackson picking up wins. Over the next few weeks, former ECW Superstars will return to the brand to compete in these qualifying matches with the winners advancing to an eight-man Homecoming Finale Over-the-Top Rope Challenge on January 12th.
The winner of that will go on to face Christian for the ECW Title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Jack Swagger will return to ECW on next week's show to face Yoshi Tatsu in a qualifying match.
